Programming is...

The youn? !nnovators Malawi competition in 2013 is all about programming and is based around the new Raspberry Pi Computing platform

For qualifying teams, we will provide Raspberry Pi computers and equipment to get you up and running.

Note: teams will have to provide their own TV/computer screen, keyboard and mouse.

Your challenge will be to create an original and playable computer game, designed and written for the Raspberry Pi

The entries will be judged by innovation experts from computing, programming and games.

There will be prizes for the first second and third placed teams, in each of two categories; schools and colleges.

If you are accepted into the competition, your team will be given a Raspberry Pi computer to work with

We will hold Raspberry Jam events, and put material online, to help you learn how to program

We will assign a professional mentor to work with your team and help you create your game

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams.
